William S. Socha, Co-CEO, CFO

Bill has deep roots in Baltimore; he graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute High School and then went onto graduate magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science and an MBA from the University of Baltimore. Bill started in the finance industry in 1967 and had roles with Alex Brown and Sons firm as Vice President of the Margin/Customer Services Department and Baker Watts & Co., where he held such roles as Director of Research, Vice President of Retail Sales Administration, Managing Director of Operations and Executive Vice President. He has also been on several committees such as consultant to regional brokerage firms engaged in operational systems conversions, served in various capacities in the securities industry association credit division and is an original member of the New York Stock Exchange’s Rule 431 Committee, where this committee dealt with customer margin/credit regulations. At Lombard he brings extensive experience in the development and operations of brokerage systems. He is Co-CEO, and CFO, where he runs the firm’s operations and finances.

C. Curtis Fox, Co-CEO, CCO

Curt Fox received his Series 7 registration in 1983 and his Branch Office Manager license in 1986. Since then, he has been a retail broker and branch office manager for New York Stock Exchange Members Baker, Watts & Co., and Johnston, Lemon & Co., Inc.

As a retail broker, in addition to advising individuals, Curt developed a profitable institutional banking business providing equity financing and fixed income sales to community banks.

In 1993, he started his own business as the owner of a branch office affiliated with an independent broker/dealer. Having developed an early interest in the Internet, Curt spent considerable time investigating various programs and systems that showed promise to independent brokers.

Curt joined Lombard Securities as Branch Manager in 1997 and subsequently became Associate Director of Compliance. He was promoted to Compliance Director in October 2003. He is current licenses are Series 7, 8, and 24. In 2015, Mr. Fox became Co-CEO along with William “Bill” Socha to run the firm. He is Co-CEO and Chief Compliance Officer.

Edwin M Reynolds, Jr., Chairman of the Board and a Founder of Lombard Securities

Ted has been in the investment business since 1972. He began his career at Baker Watts and was there for almost twenty years as a senior Financial Advisor. He then joined with a select group of other senior financial individuals to form Lombard Securities in 1991.

He is actively involved with all aspects of the business. Ted serves as Manager of the home office and corporate secretary for Lombard’s two subsidiaries, Lombard Agency and Lombard Advisors. He assists in recruiting and answering the independent broker’s concerns. He brings over forty-five years of experience in the investment industry to Lombard Securities.
